Title: Medieval pottery sherds

12 sherds of pottery (and 1 clay pipe stem) from watching brief at Burgate, North Newbald, (grid ref SE9142 3697), in 1995. Contexts 2,4,5 and some unstratified finds. Site was on edge of known Medieval village. Pottery identified as being 11th - mid 12th century date, predominantly reduced chalky and splash glazed wares.
