"Salter" no.34 kitchen scales, with pan on top and dial with weights in ounces and pounds up to 20lb. Steel body, painted pale green. Made in England. From group of material belonging to the late Mrs. Olive Lelke (donor's mother-in-law), of Hornsea. She was born in Aldbrough in 1916, her father was in the army and her grandfather was a publican in various locations. She worked as a nursing sister at Broadgates psychiatric hospital in Beverley and lived in Hornsea in later life.
