Five-bay main block, two storeys with attics linked by single-storey three-bay wings to two-storey pedimented pavilions set back to left and right. Built of cream brick with stone details. Hipped slate roof. Stable block dated 1765, of red brick with stone dressings. Architects & Craftsmen: Designed by Charles Mountain the elder. Library enlarged by G.T. Andrews, 1853. Alterations of 1920 by W.S. Walker & Field.
