East Riding Museums

Pale red brick with stone dressings. The original western end is in a Tudor style with stone mullioned windows, but the eastern extension of 1875 is in a Scottish baronial style. Extensions to the rear were made in 1898 to provide servant accommodation for one of the periodic royal visits. Architects & Craftsmen: Attributed to a member of the Wyatt family, possibly Sir Jeffry Wyatville; 1875 extension by J.H. Carroll of Scarborough.
