Description:

Built in the 2nd quarter of the 18th century and described in 1856 as "a good brick mansion, situated in a small but pleasant park." Architects & Craftsmen: Designs for a house at Bishop Burton for Colonel [James] Gee by Lord Burlington exist but it is not known if these were executed. Stable block converted to a house in the 1970s by Francis Johnson.
