Description:
Main five x five bay south-facing block, of three storeys, linked to a smaller block that housed the domestic offices and servants' quarters. When the house was demolished some of the fittings were rescued and reused elsewhere. Built of red brick, it became known as Red Hall in the 19th century to distinguish it from Winestead House or White Hall. The stable block, dated 1762, survives. Architects & Craftsmen: Not known. Stable block attributed to John Carr.
