Two-storey, five-bay facade with central pediment, with slightly projecting later wings each of one bay. Centre entrance door with semi-circular portico, said to have been added in 1839. The design is similar to that of other early 19th-century merchant houses in the area, for example Tranby Lodge, Hessle (demolished).
