Description:

Five-bay, double pile house of two storeys with attics, built of limestone with hipped slate roof. Two-storey pavilions were added in 1772; the west pavilion was demolished in 1871 and replaced with a white-brick service wing. Stone stable block with weather vane dated 1769. Architects & Craftsmen: Pavilions of 1772 attributed to Thomas Atkinson. Service block of 1871 by William Moseley.
