Sepia postcard showing the main street of Skidby village in the early 1900's, with the Half Moon public house on the right. Horse and cart approaching in centre. Message on the back reads - "Wishing you a merry Christmas & a happy new year. Brother." The driver of the cart is identified as Harry Ingham ("Dad's brother"), who is believed to have worked for Thompson's mills in Skidby/Hull. In the 1911 census, the family of Thomas P. Ingham (rullyman at flour mill) are living at Skidby.
