Bottom right hand corner - A coffin to John Cappleman who was accidentally killed with a horse and cart, aged 62 years. Died September 10th 1872.The Carlill family were carpenters and undertakers in Long Riston during the 19th and into the 20th century. Their premises were in Main Street, Long Riston.
