Carte-de-Visite style photograph, thought to be of George Wilson (1819-1889). He was born in Brind (Wressle Parish), the son of Joseph Wilson, a farmer. George left to work in oilseed mills in Hull, where he died suddenly, whilst at work at Britannia Oil Mill on 4th February 1889, aged 69. The photograph comes from his sister's album. Wilson was about 55 at the time it was taken.
