Item Name: Fixtures and Fittings

Description:

Three iron nails and a fourth, unidentified, item with a long point, probably also a nail from the watching brief at High Street, Barmby-on-the-Marsh, 1992. (Grid ref: SE6901 2855). Best preserved item is square shanked, recovered from machine soil. Specific dating of the excavated building on the site is not possible, but the pottery suggests it was in use during the late 15th/early 16th century.
