Title: Bucket mount

Description:

Copper alloy bull's head bucket mount, dating to around 50BC. With oval eyes (incised ridge above them), two large curved horns and prominent ears extending sideways. The mouth area is defined by a transverse groove. Pierced by a circular hole, set off-centre between the horns. Large oval loop at the top of the head. Flat back. Part of metal detecting collection belonging to the late Terry Britten.
