'In 1938 with the children being small the journey was made door to door by private car hire from 36 Greville Stree, Longsight, Manchester to Mrs Hornby's abode in Bridlington. Unforturately I cannot remember the address and my memories of the holiday are scant' Two Bridlington Summer Holidays, Peeter Bardsley.
