Rectangular copper printing block on a wooden backing. Shows the self portrait of Beverley artist Fred Elwell (1870-1958) in his studio, which is in the Beverley Art Gallery collection. Written on back: 'Whitbread, D/C, bev Police'. Probably used for publicity purposes during the Beverley Borough Council period.
