Black and white photograph of the Mayor of Bridlington, the Borough Engineer and members of the Heavy Rescue Corps. A hand written note with the photo reads: I think this was taken late 1939 or early 1940. Front row on the Mayor's left is Mr Melvin - Town Clerk. On his left is my father Mr A. Everingham, Borough Engineers and Head of Heavy Rescue Services. On the Mayor's right is Mr Alderson, my father's Roads Supervisor. Very oddly Mr Brown, my father's deputy is not in ths photograph.
