Two bags of daub, apparently from an oven. Approximately 40 fragments were collected, weighing 4500 grams. Probably from a dome shaped oven, of Prehistoric-Medieval date. From watching brief at 7 Northgate, Cottingham (grid ref TA 0502 3922), contexts 102/109, in 2000. Site code COT99. See also 2001/9.
