Piece of Cuprite ( a copper ore whose name comes from the latin name for copper - Cuprum), found in 1963. Cuprite is usually found in the oxidised layer of copper deposits. It is red-black in colour. Part of the T.H. Riley collection, transferred from Doncaster Museum in 1963.
