Piece of Erythrite (Cobalt bloom). Found in Schneerberg, Saxony, in 1963. Part of the T.H. Riley collection, transferred from Doncaster Museum in 1963. Erythrite is a red-pink powdery coating, produced by the surface oxidation of cobalt minerals.
