Title: Harness mount loop

Description:

Cross shaped copper alloy loop for 3-4 Medieval harness pendants (perhaps of Heraldic type). The pendants have been removed, breaking one of the mounts in the process. Dates to the 12th-15th centuries. From watching brief at Garth Grange, Beeford Road, Skipsea, (grid ref: TA1661 5503), in 1999. No archaeological features were detected, but finds of Prehistoric-Medieval date were recovered.
