Description:

Play bill for the Theatre Royal Assembly Rooms, Norwood, Beverley, advertising Othello on Saturday 22nd July 1854. Mounted on card and covered in plastic. The theatre was built in 1761-3 to allow space for concerts, dances and public meetings. The Assembly Rooms were demolished in 1935 to make way for the Regal Cinema.
