Fibreboard model of Willerby Wold Neolithic long barrow, base green, white and brown. A reconstruction of the mortuary enclosure based on archaeological evidence supplied by the excavator. Excavated by Terry Manby in 1958-60, the roughly trapezoidal timber structure had a timber post facade at the east end and was covered with an earth/chalk mound. Radio carbon dated to around 3000BC.
