Title: Romano-British child burial
Item Name: Religion or Ritual

Description:

Skeleton of child from Swaythorpe Farm, Kilham, excavations in 1998 (context 12AA). Based on the teeth, the child was around 4 years old. The form of the pelvis suggests a female, but this is not certain. A number of infant bones were also found in this context (and in 19AA). Probably aged 3 months or less. The excavation revealed parts of a 'Ladder' type settlement, as well as several burials.
