Title: Human Bone

Description:

Cremated bone from Swaythorpe Farm, Kilham, excavations in 1998 (context 23AA). It is considered that the sample represents part of (at least) one adult. Recognisable parts include peices of skull, molar and pre molar teeth roots and long bones. There are also at least 2 (unidentified) animal bone fragments. The bones were in a pot when found. (see 1999.1.12). The excavation revealed parts of a 'Ladder' type settlement, as well as several burials.
