Small scale bust of James Mills Esq., of the Beverley solicitors firm Messrs Crust, Todd, Mills and Sons. Mills was also Town Clerk for Beverley (from 1884) and 10 years later received the freedom of the town in recogniiton of his services. Depicted in jacket, waistcoat and tie. on a square stepped plinth. Title and date at base of plinth. Signed by artist on back.
