White marble bust of young woman wavy hair fastened at back. Bodice slipping off one shoulder exposing one breast. Leafy fringe under bust. Mounted on grey column with circular base. Formerly at Bridlington Town Hall. Possibly the water nymph Clytie (the lover of the sun god Apollo and subject of Roman period sculptures, for example one in the British Museum).
