Five Young Horse Conch shells (Strombus Sp.), from southern Florida. Four white and grey-brown, one white with dark brown spots. Part of the Pamplin shell collection. There are around 100 types of conch shell, found widely around the world. Some types produce pearls, which are used in jewellery.
