The Brantingham Christmas Shoot, December 24th 1966. Photographs taken by Charles Derrick. Charles Derrick was a member of the Driffield Trout Club. He worked as a gamekeeper, and was employed in the restoration and cleaning up of waterways. As well as fishing he was very interested in photography. He was married to Joan Blenkin (his seecond wife) and lived at 81 Harland Way, Cottingham. Joan Blenkin's parents built the house in approx. 1932. He died aged 84 in approx 1990. His wife died in 1998, and the photographs came to the Heritage library from their friend Mr Hall.
