Description:

Flanged bronze axehead. Slightly splayed blade, narrow butt end, flanges towards butt. No step ridge. Trapezoidal section at butt, more oval at blade end. Dull tan/gold colour. Dates to the Early Bronze Age. A metal detector find by Mr. Chris Attlesey, of Bridlington.
