Bronze Age penannular ring fragment, found by metal detecting near Burton Fleming, in October 2004. The surviving fragment is under half of the original object, including one of the flattened ends. The thin gold covering is in two different "colours", giving a striped pattern to the surface. The core is of base metal. The object dates to around 1150-750BC.
