Description:

Four examples, three of grey flint and one of white patinated flint. Barbed flint arrow heads with a rectangular projection (tang) which would have fitted into the wooden (or reed) arrow shaft. Barbed arrows were particularly useful in hunting as they were unlikely to work loose from an injured animal. Collected in the Bridlington District?
