Description:
Hoard of 35 Bronze Age fragments and a copper alloy strip with five raised pellets (the latter probably post Medieval). Found whilst metal detecting at Skirpenbeck in April 2018. The most signifcant item is part of the blade of a triangular, ribbed socketed spearhead. There is also a triangular fragment of copper alloy blade with bevelled edges and a curved sub rectangular fragment of uncertain type. The remaining items are ingots or casting wasdte.
