Iron Age & Romano-British pottery sherds. Includes material from the cursus east ditch - jar sherds with crushed dolerite temper of Iron Age date. Also, jar sherds with crushed calcite (Rigby fabric 2) of early RB date. From various contexts, excavations/field walking at Pits Plantation, Rudston (centre on grid ref TA101667) in October/November, 1995.
