Medieval pottery: 21 sherds of Staxton ware, 17 of Humber ware and 52 of orange ware. Both plain ware cooking pots and glazed jugs are identifiable. Date range 13th-15th centuries. From fieldwalking at Pits Plantation, Rudston, (see report for list of grid squares) in October/November, 1995.
