Where can motorcycles park in council car parks?

You can park your motorcycle in specific motorcycle bays for free. If you park in a normal vehicle bay charges and time restrictions apply. The following car parks have motorcycle bays:

Can I purchase a Long Stay Car Park Permit?

Permits can be purchased for all of the council's Long Stay Pay and Display locations.

Is parking free for blue badge holders?

Blue badge holders may park in on-street car parks without paying and displaying.

We charge for off street parking because we consider that disability is not necessarily related to the ability to pay. We provide dedicated bays to provide access to nearby facilities. Each council decides its own policy on charging blue badge holders.

Which council car parks have disabled spaces?

Do you offer secure car parks?

Yes. Some of our car parks meet the standards of the police's Safer Parking Scheme and have been awarded the Park Mark. This scheme is designed to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks.

Which council car parks have the Park Mark Award?

Can I park for free around Christmas?

Council car parks will be free on December weekends before Christmas to help support local businesses.

Pay and Display machines in these locations will be clearly marked to let shoppers know there is no charge for the weekends of:

  • 2nd and 3rd December 2023
  • 9th and 10th December 2023
  • 16th and 17th December 2023
  • 23rd and 24th December 2023

from 8am on Saturday until 8am on Monday.

Whilst parking charges are suspended, motorists are advised that normal parking rules still apply, such as those around disabled parking bays, maximum stays and controlled parking zones (CPZ).

I am a coach driver. Where do I get my Bridlington coach parking permit from?

Coach drivers get their parking permits from The Bridlington Tourist Information Centre so that drivers can drop off at either Bridlington harbour top or East Riding Leisure, Bridlington.
