Why go paperless?

More than 30,000 residents have already gone paperless. You can:

• view your council tax bill securely online
• check your current balance and payments any time
• get your bill straight away - no waiting for the post
• download and print your bill if needed, such as for proof of address

Council tax bills are usually issued in March, unless your circumstances change and we need to send a new one.

Navigate to your bill

To find your bill, select Bills and recovery notices from the Popular Services menu.

Prefer paper bills?

Online billing offers you more control over your council tax account, however, we realise that some people might need a paper version of their council tax bill.

This could be for many reasons, including:

• not having regular access to devices such as a phone, tablet, or computer, making it difficult to access online services
• needing a physical bill to use as proof of address or for legal reasons
• living in temporary or unstable housing where online access is harder to manage
• not being confident about your digital skills when trying to use online services.

We'll update your online council tax account so that future bills are sent by post.
