What is Opportunity Goole - Flexigrant?

As part of the Goole Town Deal, £325,000 has been ringfenced to invest on local businesses and individuals to boost the local economy.

The grant funding is to help residents and organisations access/provide training and jobs where other funding is currently not available. It can be used to help individuals acquire what they need to gain employment or upskill. It will also help to ensure that employers can either provide training, or recruit people with the skillset that they’re looking for from the Goole area, rather than having to look further afield.

Grants will be allocated in three different size brackets:

  • Route 1 individual (£1 to £5000)

  • Route 2 individual (£5000 to £50000)

  • Route 3 business (Up to £50000)

Through supporting local businesses our priority aims are to:

  • create jobs
  • safeguard jobs
  • improve training
  • upskill
  • connect employers and employees.

Who can apply?

Applications for the flexi-grant fund can be submitted by local individuals, businesses and charity organisations.
