What can I learn?

Make new friends, increase self confidence and take up new hobbies and other interests. Our range of health and wellbeing courses are designed to help you live a better life and to improve your physical and emotional wellbeing. Courses run at different times throughout the year and some of the courses that are on offer are listed below.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to our thoughts, feelings, body sensations and the environment in the here and now. On this course, you will learn more about the practice of mindfulness and how it can help you to cope better with stress and anxiety in everyday life. View courses available

Mindfulness and meditation

This course will focus more on the meditation side of mindfulness and you will take part in some practical mindfulness exercises and meditations. View courses available

Self esteem and confidence building

Is low confidence or self-esteem affecting your day to day life? If so our range of courses will teach you the importance of positive thinking, self worth and self esteem. Courses aim to equip you with the skills and techniques to have a more positive and confident outlook, allowing you to take advantage of all the opportunities that come your way. How to interpret your dreams

Are you looking to understand the meaning of your dreams and to learn more about yourself? Maybe you have a recurring dream and want to develop a greater understanding of its meaning? People have been fascinated with dreams and their meanings for hundreds of years. Most felt that dreams were, at the very least, a glimpse into the future. This course will help you to discover your dreams as a way of helping you to solve everyday problems and to discover a greater understanding of yourself. View courses available

Arts crafts and creative courses

Don’t underestimate the benefits that having a new hobby, or learning a new skill, can have on your health and wellbeing. Why not take a look at our wide range of arts, crafts and creative courses and take up a new skill, rekindle an old one and make new friends in the process. View courses available

Gardening for health and wellbeing

Looking for an activity to provide you and your family with exercise and relaxation as well as a sense of calm? Gardening has been shown to promote feelings of self achievement and wellbeing and can help to improve self esteem. View courses available

Counselling and mental health courses

If you are looking to develop your own counselling skills to help others we deliver a range of counselling courses that may help you achieve this, some leading to a qualification. View courses available

Course costs vary, depending on the duration and type of course, and your personal circumstances (for example, if you’re on certain benefits or you’re taking a particular qualification).
