East Riding Youth Orchestra (ERYO)

The ERYO provides the opportunity for musicians from the East Riding Secondary Schools to play in a large Symphony Orchestra and experience a wide variety of music from the symphonic repertoire. Since 1997 it has been awarded two Sainsbury's awards and has released two CD recordings.

It regularly tours abroad and has in recent years visited Poland, Barcelona, Lake Garda, Berlin and most recently Salzburg. The orchestra enjoys a close association with the Beverley Chamber Music Festival and this has made it possible for the orchestra to work with numerous national and internationally renowned musicians, including trio, Wanderer, the Schidlof Quartet, Richard Watkins, Andrew Watkinson, Emma Johnson, Peter Cropper and Martin Roscoe.
