The Hexagon Music Centre is the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's dedicated, state-of-the-art performance centre. 

The Hexagon Music Centre was completed in August 2010 after a major refurbishment project to transform the former Swinemoor Infant School into a state of the art performance centre.

The centre is conveniently situated on Coltman Avenue, Beverley. It is fully accessible for disabled users. There is parking for 8 cars plus disabled parking space during office hours and out of hours parking for 25 cars. Additional parking for 20 cars accessed from Burden Road plus on street parking where available.

There are 9 rooms available to hire with seating capacity ranging from 5 to 150. The centre boasts two fully restored grand pianos, plus 3 upright pianos.

There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, boilers and urns for your catering needs. There are Ladies, Gents and Disabled Toilets, plus Baby Changing facilities.

Also available to hire, when a member of Schools’ Music Service staff is present, is a recording studio. This has a lighting desk, 8 channel powered mixer, DVD player, CD player and 2 radio microphones. Also available are Roland professional electric piano and amplifier, PA and two speakers, Yamaha 8 channel mixer, 7 microphones, keyboards etc.

The main hall has a seating capacity of 150. It boasts a Steinway grand piano, which has been fully restored. The hall has an oak floor, 18 multi coloured LED parcans (stage lighting) with the focal point being a modern pendant drop light. Technology is up to the minute with wi-fi, network points, short throw projection white board and PA system with CD/DVD players in the main hall. Plus interactive white boards in the meeting room, ensemble room and percussion studio. Tables, chairs, staging and music stands are available to suit a variety of uses.
