Where can I find education and training opportunities for young people?

Education and training opportunities for young people are available from a number of organisations including schools, colleges, local authority and private training providers.

Young people living and/or working in the East Riding of Yorkshire access a number of education and training organisations for part time and full time learning opportunities.  These organisations are located within the East Riding boundary and outside in neighbouring local authorities.

Much of the travel to providers outside the East Riding boundary, is in close proximity to where young people live or work.

How do I get an apprenticeship?

We have lists of current apprenticeship vacancies in the East Riding and Humberside area.

Anyone living in the East Riding, aged 18 or over, is able to contact the youth support service to access careers advice, and we can also make an appointment for you to see a personal adviser to discuss in more detail what you are looking for.
