Christmas photograph competition

The Chairman of the council is running a Christmas photograph competition to find a design for his 2023 Christmas card.

"As the festive season approaches, we turn our minds to this time of Christmas and what this means to all of us, of whatever denomination. What better way to express this than to have a suitable photograph with which to adorn the official East Riding Civic Christmas card?

"I would like to invite all members of our East Riding community to submit a photo which reflects the East Riding at Christmas. This doesn't necessarily mean snow-covered cottages and Christmas trees! It can be anything that you think represents this lovely area at this time of year, whether it be ice-covered lakes, wildlife in winter plumage or, indeed Christmas celebrations. The choice is yours..."
