Are there any specific activities for young people with disabilities?

There are lots of activities that the Health and Wellbeing team run and we can also signpost people to other activities we are aware of. Have a look at the table below for more information:

Activity Further Information

Aspire Clubs

Aspire clubs offer a wide range of sports and activities for young disabled people and their siblings and friends. The clubs are aimed at young people aged 8-16 but 5-7 year olds can attend but must be supervised by a parent or guardian
The clubs are held at:

  • Beverley Leisure Complex - Thursdays 5-6pm
  • Francis Scaife Sports Centre - Saturdays 3-5pm
  • Haltemprice Leisure Centre - Saturdays 1-3pm.
