Craft and Chat. First, third and fourth Tuesday of the month. 2.15 – 3.45pm 
Knitting, sewing, needlework and watercolours. Did you know knitting has therapeutic qualities similar to meditation? Research shows it can help prevent and manage stress and pain. Join our lively group of new friends for all ages and abilities and improve your health & wellbeing.

Adult Book Club. Second Tuesday of the month. 2.15 - 3.30pm
Reading can reduce stress by 68% and risk of dementia by 35%. Broaden your horizons, meet like-minded people and explore the fascinating world of literature. Suitable for all adults and ability levels, no need to book just come along.

Ancestry Club. First Tuesday of the month. 5 - 6pm 


Bounce and Rhyme. For pre-school children. Term time only. 11.00 - 11.30am
Experts have discovered that if a child knows eight nursery rhymes by heart by the time they are four years old, they are usually among the best at reading and spelling in their class by the time they are in Year 3. Enjoy sharing songs and rhymes with your pre-school children in a group setting, and help increase their language concentration and listening skills in these fun sessions. No need to book, just come along. 

Getting there

By bus – Snaith Library is a two minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Selby Road.

Parking - there is on-street parking near the library, and one disabled parking bay at the rear of the library.  Access via Cadman Lane.
