Do any of the resorts have awards?

In 2023, 3 East Riding resort beaches (Bridlington North, Bridlington South, Willsthorpe) were granted Seaside Awards. These prestigious awards are testament to the high standards and cleanliness of the beaches and surrounding areas. Both Hornsea and Withernsea were awarded a Blue Flag.

Can you hire deckchairs?

Deckchairs and windbreaks are available for hire at Bridlington (subject to weather conditions) at both the north and south Bridlington foreshore offices all of which are well signposted on the seafront.

Do the toilets have changing facilities?

All resorts have toilets with baby changing and special needs changing facilities.

Are there chalets available?

Chalets are available at both Bridlington and Hornsea.

Can I hire a disability bike?

Yes. Aimed at people with disabilities, their families and their carers, this scheme offers adapted bikes, safe cycle routes along the North Promenade, organised rides and a chance for people to take part with their families, friends and carers.

Disability bikes are run by a charity called R-Evolution, to book please follow the instructions below.

The maximum booking will be one hour of cycling time, though two-hour slots will be allocated, to allow time for training and familiarisation with the bike.
