  • Cottingham (Thursdays).

Safety

Both shoppers and traders will need to follow Government guidelines to maintain public safety. If you are displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the markets.

Signs will be installed to remind shoppers of the rules.

Please ensure that you regularly sanitise your hands and use card payments where possible when shopping at the market.

Traders will also be provided with the latest Government guidance.

Where are the markets in the East Riding?

There are two types of markets in the East Riding – those operated by the council, and those which aren’t:

Council-operated markets

  • Beverley Saturday market, HU17 8AA, 9am-4pm, Saturdays only

  • Pocklington market, YO42 2AR, 9am-4pm, Tuesdays only

  • Beverley Wednesday market, HU17 0DG, 9am-4pm, Wednesdays only

Other markets

There are also a number of car boot sales, farmers' markets and smaller, independent markets throughout the East Riding, but these are not operated by the council.

You should be able to find details of these by doing an internet search or visit the NMTF website.

What does each market sell?

We don’t currently list all the stalls at each location, but we are compiling a list to help you plan your visit which will be available soon.
