About the centre
Driffield Children’s Centre is located at Waterview Lodge, Beckside, Driffield. The centre serves Driffield and surrounding villages.The friendly, passionate and knowledgeable staff team work alongside colleagues from Midwifery and Health Visiting to provide a range of activities and services for children and their parents or carers, grandparents or childminders from pregnancy to age 9.We have recently achieved the Gold Standard Baby Friendly Accreditation which enables us to better support families with feeding and developing close, loving relationships with their babies.
Parking
There is no parking on site. However if you have a disability or need to park on-site, please ask and we will be as accommodating as we can. The nearest parking is free and 100 metres away at Eastgate car park.
Facilities
  • A spacious multipurpose room which has access to secure outdoor spaces. There is a kitchen area to support with preparation for messy play activities or snack time, but also health eating sessions.
  • There is also an adaptable small meeting room and a sensory room which are bookable and free of charge, and can be used by registered local families.
  • Clothes swap available for families to donate unwanted children’s clothes and also take clothes from the selection available. This is free to access.
  • Take and Make home learning craft resources are available to purchase at reception at a very reasonable cost to support children’s learning and development at home.
  • Baby changing facilities are available throughout the building.
  • Comfortable breast feeding and infant feeding facilities.
Accessibility
Driffield Children's Centre is a one story building which is accessible via a ramp. There are accessible toilets. There is no accessible parking on site. However if you have a disability or need to park on-site, please ask and we will be as accommodating as we can.
