Fostering events

Dates and locations of upcoming fostering events.

What are fostering events?

Our information events may look a little different these days, and we do miss meeting prospective new carers in person, and the yummy tea and cakes at our venues! however, we are pleased to be now running them virtually via Microsoft Teams.

You can now find out everything you need to know informally including what's involved, the training and support we offer and we'll take you through all you need to know to start the process.

For more details and a link to join a session, please email lyndsay.spencer@eastriding.gov.uk.

Event date: Wednesday 20th January 2021, 7-8pm

Where and when are the fostering events?

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions face-to-face meetings have been cancelled.

Date Time Location
Wednesday 20 January 2021
7-8pm
Online - MS Teams (see above for details)

Drop-in events

Our drop-in events are an opportunity to come and have an informal chat with a member of staff. We hold these regularly in either supermarkets, leisure centres or libraries. Please keep checking back for our latest sessions.

Can I just turn up or do I need to book?

There is no need to book, just turn up!

Can I bring my children?

Children are welcome to come along to the information events.

I can't attend any of the events, what should I do?

If you're unable to come to one of our events but would like further information please call us on (01482) 396469 or  send us a general enquiry.
