Policies map

Explains what the policies map is.

What is the policies map?

The policies map shows all the areas in the East Riding where different policies as part of the new East Riding Local Plan apply. For example, it shows areas allocated for new development (e.g. housing), where important landscape areas are, and the boundaries of conservation areas.

The policies map is divided into a number of inset maps for each settlement, as well as a Grid Map covering the more rural parts of the East Riding. All of the maps are available to view in the table below. A key and index map is also available:

Key to adopted policies map (July 2016) (pdf 215kb)

Grid index map (July 2016) (pdf 3.7mb)

Policies Map Schedule of Factual Changes (July 2018) (pdf 11.2mb)

Can I view an interactive version of the policies map?

Yes, use the button below to access the interactive version of the policies map. It allows you to zoom in on different locations and click features to identify which policies of the Local Plan apply.

Will the Policies Map be updated?
