The People's Choice winner of Goole Museum's 6th annual Open Art Exhibition is Rachel Le-Monnier, from Goole, with her painting 'Serenity'.

Rachel attracted the most votes overall for both of her entries, but her beautiful seascape won by just two votes.

Rachel will receive £100 of framing and the museum would like to thank Gallery Framing for providing the prize.

Curator Debbie Hardy said : “This is only the second year that the public have had a chance to vote for their favourite piece of art - last year's winner is having an exhibition at the museum in 2021, showing that exciting things can happen when you take part in our Open Art.

“So, if you would like to be involved in the 7th Annual Open Art, please contact the museum and leave us your contact details, so we can send you an entry form in 2020.”
